**Senior Project Leader, Meetings & Events**
- Fulltime (37,5u/week), Teleworking/Antwerp - Berchem_
In this role, you will work remotely and have the flexibility to work in the office once or twice a week to collaborate with your team. As the leader, you will be responsible for high-profile trade missions, and incentives. You will work on a variety of programs simultaneously and serve as the day-to-day planning contact.
A strong operations background and well-developed communication skills will support your success as the Senior Project Leader. A history of working on programs requiring extensive attention to detail and the development of tailored unique programs is important. A high comfort level in facilitating programs with senior corporate leaders and high-profile government figures is essential.
**A snapshot of this opportunity**
- Partner with client to develop, coordinate, and implement travel program agendas and itineraries
- Manage complex meetings, conferences, trade missions, conventions, and incentive programs for 20 - 1000+ participants
- Negotiate with Destination Management Companies and direct vendors to find ground transportation, entertainment, and meeting & event venues
- Utilize and leverage BCD M&E preferred hotel agreements when negotiating hotel contracts
- Train new team members and provide ongoing support as necessary
- Connect with other leaders to ensure consistency in delivery and service standards
- Prepare all documents required for client planning, strategy meetings, program walk-through meetings, and client debrief meetings
**How you can set yourself apart**
- You have excellent written and verbal knowledge of French, Dutch & English
- Creative and eye for detail
- Relevant experience in planning meetings, incentives, conventions, conferences, and/or special events
- Relevant experience managing outside vendors, sourcing, and negotiating contract services
- Proficient in database management and has strong attention to detail
- Success in planning domestic and international group travel
**Work location**
BCD Meetings & Events offers you a teleworking contract for this function. Our flex office in Antwerpen-Berchem (right across the train station) is available for team and client meetings.
