As an IT integrator within the Operations Business Unit, your role will involve coordinating information needs related to field operations, particularly the strategic and methodological coordination of Information and Communication Services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Stay updated on technological advancements and propose project-specific adaptations.
- Provide technical insights within your specialized domain.
- Analyze user needs and draft technical documentation.
- Offer assistance and coaching to colleagues.
- Work on the full development cycle, from Back-End (Web-Services) to Front-End.
**Challenges**:
- Contribute to the digital transformation of the Police by implementing secure tools and technologies to address current and future challenges.
- Take part in digitization, modernization, and implementation of modern, mobile, secure, and high-performing systems.
**Profile**:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
- Proficiency in French with a good passive knowledge of Dutch to work in a multilingual environment (French, Dutch, English).
- Ability to handle stress and maintain discretion.
- Flexibility and a customer-oriented approach.
- Excellent capacity for code optimization, DB queries, bug fixing, and testing.
**Essential technical skills**:
- PHP, SQL, GIT, DEVOPS, Web Services REST (PHP knowledge).
- Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cartography is a plus.
