Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which is selling parts, lubricants and consumables for compressors with customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our objective is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors. Our customers are mostly small to medium sized companies, which are located in more than 90 different countries around the world.

To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Customer Service & Claims Specialist**.**

**Function**:
As a Customer Service & Claims Specialist, you are really at the heart of the organization by being in direct contact with our customers as well as all internal departments. Your primary function is to increase our customers’ satisfaction by handling their claims in a fair, fast and efficient way. You will also take care of other customer service tasks like order processing, customer communication regarding orders, some outbound logistics tasks as well.

Overall, you will have a wide variety of responsibilities:

- Be the **claims owner** - you are there to provide our customers with solutions by coordinating and taking responsibility for the entire process from A to Z and make sure our customers’ claims are given top priority and they are resolved as fast as possible in a fair way.
- Create **transparency** by following up continuously the status of open claims, inform our customers where necessary
- Be the **main point of contact** for our customers, concerning all topics related to open claims & orders. Our customers’ journey and satisfaction are your top priority.
- Strive for **continuous improvement** and always look for a better way.
- Responsible for** handling of orders **based on the daily intakes that we receive from our customers
- Be the **internal** **voice of the customer**, supporting our internal organization to safeguard that orders are shipped in line with our commitments
- **Support our warehouse, **give priorities, support the daily logistics activities, and safeguard our warehouse performance
- **As a customs expert, **you will safeguard that all our non-EU shipments get the necessary documents like invoicing, certification of origin, etc. Within Edmac you are one of the spokespersons for customs related matters
- Be in **contact with our suppliers** when quality or compatibility issues are raised by our customers
- Prepare the required **reports** related to claims on a weekly basis
- Work closely together with the other colleagues within the **operations team** to safeguard the best customer service possible.

As a Customer Service & Claims Specialist, you will be part of our Operations team.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional who is thorough, analytical, methodical, confident and decisive. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are critical to this role, as well as a strong drive to use your initiative.
- You are pro-active & attentive towards our customers
- You are detail oriented - to make sure each order and customer gets the right attention
- You are a good communicator, external as well as internal
- You are strong in follow up and administration - creative in finding solutions
- 2-5 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Claims handling is an asset
- Bachelor degree or equal through experience
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with ERP systems is a major advantage
- Knowledge of outbound operations including customs related procedures is seen as an important asset
- Excellent knowledge of English is a must. Dutch is seen as a major advantage.
