Vice President R&d

**The Vice President (VP) R&D of TDK-Micronas is responsible for the success of all innovation projects of TDK-Micronas. The VP R&D leads, motivates, develops and represents a development group in an international environment. The VP R&D is a member of the executive team and reports directly to the CEO.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify development trends and investment potential and incorporate them into your medium -and long - term business plans
- Closely interact with all stakeholders to achieve mutual goals
- Create and implement strategies to drive continuous development and simplification of processes to create state-of-the-art semiconductor products
- Drive the continuous improvement of processes and development methodologies
- Establish and maintain global networks e.g. with universities, associations and supervise funded projects
- Prepare budget, monitor running costs and manage the patent portfolio

**Competences**:

- You have a degree in electrical engineering, preferably in microelectronics
- You have at least 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry and in the field of mixed-signal ICs/SoC for the automotive industry (design, concept)
- You demonstrate firm and confident leadership
- You can make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have an analytical mindset and you have impeccable judgment
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
