**Job Summary**:
As thought leader in People Analytics and Digital HR Ecosystem you will create and shape the future of this growing field within the Terumo Global HR community. In this newly created and pioneering role, you will lead a team of thoughtful, ambitious, and creative technical specialists/analysts to identify, frame, implement and solve critical business questions and projects, building bridges between local Terumo entities to build One Global Digital HR Ecosystem.
You have experiences managing (remote) teams and resources directly as well as collaborating up and across are essential for success in this role. This is a developmental, greenfield opportunity which will require strategic thinking, but also rolling up your sleeves and take operational actions.
**Responsibilities**:
**PROJECT LEADERSHIP**
You will lead a new team focusing globally within Terumo on people analytics and building out a digital HR ecosystem. Projects on the roadmap include connecting data from multiple entities in order to build out a global HR data platform and global talent marketplace.
You will collaborate with and advise/guide global HR Centers of Excellence (strategic workforce planning, associate experience, internal talent marketplace and others) with regards to digital HR topics and analytics.
In addition, you appropriately manage potential roadblocks proactively identifying, communicating, and solving issues.
Thanks to your excellent relationship management with business, functions, and IT, you gain support for your team and foster discussion/ exchange of ideas
You communicate well to different audiences: from progress reports to senior leadership to impactful success stories to the broader organization to create awareness and enthusiasm for upcoming change.
**TEAM LEADERSHIP**
You act as “entrepreneur-in-residence” to challenge and coach your team in their thinking and ambitions; Especially you coach the non-digital Terumo associates that are seconded by diverse business (e.g., Process Owners) to the multiple projects to ensure an integrated, consistent mindset and approach.
Furthermore, you ensure all digital initiatives have clearly defined metrics to evaluate success and continuous, measurable improvement.
You create a sustainable, attractive experience for high-performing data & analytics talents, facilitating their personal and professional development.
**Profile Description**:
You have a degree and/or relevant work experience in statistics, economics, data architecture, computer science, I/O psychology or related fields. You are fluent in English, both writen and Spoken. Any other languages (Japanese, French, Dutch..) are a plus.
Relevant experience in technology platforms and analytics leading, driving, maintaining, and improving technology platforms and using project management tools and methodologies is a must to be successful in this role.
You have a pioneering mindset, excited to build and implement sustainable change.
You have excellent communication skills, able to vary your message to different audiences and explain complex matters in an simple way. You are able to build up a global network of internal stakeholders, sensitive for cultural differences.
In addition, you are a true people manager and coach, you love to make people grow, listen to their needs and work as partners to a common goal. You know how to build a team atmosphere across continents, time zones and cultures.
Exposure to relational data platforms (such as HRIS, Customer Databases/CRMs,), Data visualization (such as Microsoft BI, Tableau, Qlick, RShiny or similar), Statistical Tools (R, Python Pandas, SPSS, or similar), ETL and/or data prep environments (eg, Alteryx), and/or Continuous Listening Tools in HR or Customer-Facing roles (Qualtrics, PeakOn, etc)
