Currently, we're looking for a Team Leader for our Logistics Specialist team in Bornem, Belgium. As a team leader you will manage and prioritize the daily tasks of the logistics specialist, align with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and take part in daily operations. The team consists of 4 Logistics Specialists that are responsible for booking and ensuring delivery of our orders being shipped from Belgium to our global Customers.

**What you’ll do**
- Be responsible for the daily operations of the Logistics Specialist team, ensuring that resources are prioritized so that we can ensure that our Customer’s receives their orders on time and in full.
- Have the people leader responsibility to develop and manage the team of Logistics Specialist
- Be the first point of contact for escalations within the team
- Manage shipments to internal and external customers.
- Follow up on deviations due to delivery, quality or cost and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate issues and ensure delivery.
- Function as an active stakeholder in the relationship with external forwarders.
- Function as an interface between internal customer service and warehouse operations.
- Support global and/or local projects as SME in logistics.

**Who you are**
- Minimum of 8 years in Operational environment of Order fulfilment and Logistics Management
- Solid communications and analytical skills
- Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
- Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills.
- Experience of improvement work using LEAN.
- Proven leaderships capabilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required.
- Fluency in Dutch is preferred
