Sourcing Logistics Leader

The Logistics Sourcing Leader will be the key point of contact for sourcing activities in the EMEA region. In this role, the Logistics Sourcing Leader will demonstrate leadership and ownership for sourcing activities in a dynamic environment, to ensure the business have the right partner both from a cost, quality, and business growth perspective.
- Be a key partner to the business on matters related to sourcing activities in the logistics category, covering freight, warehousing, packaging and brokerage.
- Demonstrate ownership in complex expansion plans aligning the business objective and the service providers capabilities.
- A proven history in being able to work on the day-to-day tactical procurement with a strategic vision to be able to drive the business forward.
- Driving continuous improvement through everything that we do.
- Develop strategic sourcing road maps based on business growth and customer’s needs.
- Provide sourcing leadership and support to stakeholders at all levels of the organization in the effort of building a strong partnership with key suppliers.
- Lead and drive the sourcing process from RFP, RFQ and contract development.
- Lead regular sourcing reviews with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Support internal stakeholders on business growth and expansion plans.
**Who you are**:
- At least 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Project Management, Finance, or Logistics/Trade.
- Preferred MCIPS or equivalent Professional Procurement qualification, or BA or BS degree or other advanced degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Economics or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written & presentation); skilled in working collaboratively with remote personnel.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent analytical skills (Excel), BI development and database management skills. With the ability to draw and present findings and conclusions from the data that is available.
- Experience with Oracle, TMS, WMS, Freight Pay, Qlik or other relevant BI and purchasing tools.
- Self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Working in a structured and organized manner
- Experience leading simplification projects, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong Project management & process improvement skills.
- Strategic experience technically and applied but able to work tactically to suit the needs of the business.
