Senior SAP IT Business Analyst

Initially, your primary focus will be on the ZIRIS Team, where you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Zurich's core reinsurance system, ZIRIS (Zurich Integrated Reinsurance System SAP FS-RI). This system is utilized by various Zurich Units.

You will be responsible for handling small user requests from start to finish and ensure that these requests are effectively addressed, this includes interacting with internal stakeholders such as business users/managers and second-level support representatives, as well as our external development team

For larger user requests and projects like roll-ins, migrations, release upgrades, module implementations, creation of new interfaces/workflows, etc., you will join a team based on the project's nature and your experience. This may involve taking on roles such as Business Analyst, Tester/Test Manager, Product Owner, Reconciliation Manager, Cut Over Manager, Migration Manager, Project Manager, or similar, and work in accordance with the project plan and deliverables.

It is highly desirable for you to have a solid understanding of both IT and the reinsurance industry, as well as a keen interest in expanding your knowledge in Commercial Insurance and International Program business, in addition to your expertise in SAP FS-RI.

This is a full-time, hybrid role, based out of our office in Diegem, Belgium.

Your day to day will be the following:

- Analyze business requirements, propose solutions/designs, and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and development team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage testing, training, and documentation for projects.
- Provide expertise on as-is/to-be models during requirements elicitation.
- Support backlog management and ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
- Identify and define short/mid-term requirements aligned with long-term business visions.
- Perform quality review checks on project deliverables.
- Participate in test planning, implementation, and training activities.
- Conduct post-implementation activities, including problem-solving and benefit measurement.

**What we are looking for?**
- Proven experience as a senior business analyst specifically with SAP FS-RI with a solution and delivery mindset.
- Strong knowledge of the reinsurance industry and ability to capture complex business requirements.
- Competence in conceptualizing solutions and strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, business information, or equivalent.
- Balanced mix of business acumen and technology/systems knowledge.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Additional knowledge of SAP ABAP, SAP BW, or accounting is a plus.
- Client-oriented team player with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Opportunity to expand business analyst skills to other Commercial-Insurances systems and processes in the long run if needed.
