**About the role**:
- As a senior HR manager, you will play a crucial role in executing and implementing the human resources initiatives.
- The role reports to the HR Director and is part of the HR Leadership Team together with the Employee Relations Manager and HR Operations Manager.
- Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and guide the activities of two HR Partners and two recruiters, and manage the People Pillar (Recruitment, People Development Onboarding, Organizational Design, Well-being, Performance Management - etc). You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align HR strategies with organizational goals, support the launch, continuous improvement, and execution of the people processes, and drive employee engagement and development. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead the critical People Pillar and influence HR practices while contributing to the overall success of our company and, most importantly, the ECF’s Climate Mission.
**Key responsibilities**:
- ** HR Leadership**:Provide guidance to the HR Partners, ensuring effective execution of HR initiatives and programs. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with ECF’s objectives. Be a true partner and understand the needs and challenges of the organization - across all levels.
- ** Team Management**:Manage, support, guide, and continue to grow a team of 2 HR Partners and 2 recruiters.
- **Stakeholder Management**:Be the go-to partner to the HR Director and overall ECF leadership team, as well as ECF Staff across the entire organization.
- ** Talent Management**:Oversee the Talent strategy, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive talent management programs, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, etc. Develop and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Monitor and address employee well-being and engagement levels; and recommend strategies to enhance overall employee satisfaction.
- **Change Management**:Act as a change agent, driving and supporting organizational change initiatives. Collaborate with HR Partners to develop change management plans and communication strategies for major organizational transformations. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and managers in effectively managing change within their teams.
- ** HR Analytics and Reporting**:Design and utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare and present HR reports to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, insights, and recommendations.
**Experience and competences**:
Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR business partnering and talent management.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with demonstrated experience in managing a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the non-profit is considered a plus
- Strong interest in climate and the environment.
- Influencing & communication skills
- Excellent command of the English languages (both spoken and written) Other European languages are a plus (e.g. French, German, etc.)
