In this exciting new position, you will focus on developing the internal communications strategy for Prothya Biosolutions and coordinate the execution of the internal communication for our locations in Belgium and the Netherlands. And equally, you will contribute to building employee engagement. This position will report into the VP HR. Everything is new, so we are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who is used to build and employer brand and who still likes to be heavily involved hands-on to excite.
As the Internal Communications Lead, you are the key to promoting an open and engaged work environment, where every employee is encouraged to make their best contribution. With your creative approach and goal-oriented communication skills, you contribute to the success and growth of our company.
**Your job**
- Develop and execute a strategy to enhance internal communication and ensure all employees are informed about company news, goals, and initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and make improvements as needed
- Collaborate with various departments to strengthen the company’s employer branding and promote the image as an attractive employer
- Develop and implement communication plans to promote the employee well-being program and raise awareness of available resources and support
- Create together with your HR colleagues, and communicate, the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) of the company to increase attractiveness for potential and existing employees
- Foster relationships with key persons; stimulate input & organizational involvement. If needed assist in communications and messaging from senior leadership
- Support and execute in cooperation with Management Assistants the production of communication collateral (townhalls, newsletters, fact sheets, FAQs, memo’s, presentations, etc)
- Initiate and manage cost-effective media and channels, including digital communications
**Your profile**
- 5+ years’ internal communications experience, developing and executing communication plans
- Proven communications experience in building rebranding and supporting internal stakeholders to deliver on communication initiatives across an international, multi-office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills in English and Dutch
- Verbal and/or written communication in French is a plus
- High energy - ability to mobilize, involve and inspire
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Connected, constructive and pragmatic attitude
- Ability to translate business strategies into practical solutions that optimize communication channels
- Ability to align stakeholders and define clear goals and progress
- Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload in line with business needs
- Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
- Pro-active, hands-on, ‘can-do’ mentality
