**You like to work in an** **environment where you can**:

- Drive the delivery and support of standardized and globalized manufacturing DCS (Distributed Controlled Systems - PCS7/Delta V) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Provide functional expertise combined with Manufacturing process knowledge
- Coordinate the efforts of experts and external contractors together with internal Manufacturing and Automation stakeholder’s
- Be accountable for your systems and be the major point of contact for consultants and Manufacturing stakeholders.

**You will** **contribute** **by**:

- Setting up efficient and harmonized processes within the internal manufacturing community based on unified global systems (Siemens PCS7 or Emerson Delta V, MES platforms, Data Historian and Data Platform) which integrates and organizes across business units and sites of UCB.
- Ensuring deliverables are provided in a timely manner and aligned with project planning with the right expected quality and according to the allocated budget.
- Ensuring that other IT teams and experts are involved in the implementation projects to deliver expected infrastructure and services.
- Providing expertise in the integration of data, and on how data quality, integrity and controls can be improved.
- Anticipating IT risks (quality, security, resource), escalating issues and making proposals when appropriate, and managing user’s expectations accordingly.

**Interested? For this position you’ll need the following** **education, experience,** **and skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Biotechnology with strong affinity for computerized systems and digitalization
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in end-to-end implementation of DCS/MES. Mixed skill should include configuration and expertise in Siemens PCS7 and Emerson DeltaV.
- Business process understanding across commercial and clinical Manufacturing with proven ability to capture functional requirements for integration with DCS solutions.
- Project management skills in global environment with international teams. Proven ability to work across functional and regional boundaries, challenge status quo, and handle multiple projects simultaneously delivering on time and on budget.
- Ability to make effective presentations to diverse groups, facilitate brainstorming sessions, identify user needs and gather business requirements.
- A good command of French and English (written and spoken) are required. Other languages are an added benefit.
- Confidence in learning and taking ownership of new systems.
