**Mission**

As a Channel Expert, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our cutomers and the channels bpost offers them to use. as member of the squad which designs & develops our customer value proposition, Your primary objective is to ensure the effective utilization of (digital) channels in alignment with our omnichannel strategy across diverse customer segments. This role demands a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of digital channels, and the ability to advocate for segment-specific channel requirements.

**About the job**

Your main duties will include:

- Omnichannel Alignment: Collaborate with segment teams to understand their unique customer segment needs and align these with the overarching omnichannel strategy. you will also contribute to the definition & refinment of the company's omnichannel strategy
- Channel Utilization: Champion the use of all available (mainly digital) channels as per the defined omnichannel strategy within the specific customer segment. Identify gaps and opportunities for channel optimization.
- Segment Channel Strategy: Develop segment-specific channel strategies in alignment with the overarching business objectives. Ensure consistency and relevance across all channels.
- Communication and Advocacy: Serve as a liaison between customer segment teams and the channel development teams, advocating for necessary channel capabilities required by each segment’s customers.
- Roadmap Influence: Work with the channel development teams to highlight and advocate for channel capabilities lacking in the channels concerning your specific segment needs. Influence their roadmap to accommodate segment-specific channel requirements.

**Your profile**

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Omnichannel Strategy Knowledge: Strong grasp of omnichannel marketing concepts and experience in implementing omnichannel strategies in diverse business environments.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams, advocate for strategies, and align objectives across departments.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing segment-specific customer behaviors, preferences, and channel usage to inform channel strategies.
- Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively, collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Education and Experience:

- This role requires a strong understanding of both digital channels and segment-specific customer needs. The Channel Expert will serve as the linchpin between the XYZ team and the segment teams, ensuring a cohesive and effective omnichannel strategy implementation. 5+ years of experience in marketing or channel development, with a focus on digital channel management and strategy.
- experience in agile working environments is a plus
