**Responsabilities**:
Within the University of Namur, the Faculty of Science has nearly 1400 students and 500 staff, including 60 academics and 300 scientists. Our 3-year Bachelor of Science program includes regular semester instruction, as well as both block and field courses.
**Your responsibilities**
Within the Department of Biology, and more specifically within URBE, you will take on teaching, research and service. More specifically:
- You will be responsible for undergraduate and/or graduate teaching. Courses may include ecotoxicology, ecophysiology, ecoethology, functional and adaptive biology and data analysis, for a total of approximately 160h per year. The course portfolio is likely to adapt according to the profile of the person recruited.
- You will supervise research projects at the Master's level.
- You will seek external funding to carry out your research.
- You will actively participate in the missions and service activities of the Department, Faculty and University.

**Skills**
You have the following knowledge and skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in ecotoxicology and ecophysiology,
- Pedagogical skills and experience,
- Creativity and innovation in teaching,
- Ability to express yourself in front of a large audience in French and English. If French is not your first language, you must demonstrate your ability to teach in French after two years,
- Collaborative spirit and ability to integrate within URBE and the Biology Department,
- Ability to manage and develop a research team,
- Ability to obtain research funding.

- Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals of international repute.
