De centrale digitale redactie van VRT is dé plek waar social media content van Eén, Canvas en VRT MAX gemaakt en verspreid wordt.
Social media zijn belangrijke platformen om ons publiek nog beter tot bij onze content te krijgen, en vereisen een specifieke aansturing. Daarom zoeken we een eindredacteur voor de social media van één en Canvas die onze content en gebruikers door en door kent, en die een ploeg van gedreven digitale redacteurs en creatives kan aansturen en motiveren.
Wat doet de centrale digitale redactie?
Ze is verantwoordelijk voor het inhoudelijke beheer van en de curatie op het platform VRT MAX, en dit voor alle merken van VRT. Ze neemt hierdoor een centrale rol op binnen de VRT-organisatie.
De redactie zorgt ervoor dat de sterke audio
- en videocontent van VRT elke dag opnieuw zo goed mogelijk tot bij ons publiek raakt.
Ze is ook verantwoordelijk voor de digitale merkbeleving en communicatie rond onze sterke producten en merken, en werkt hiervoor nauw samen met marketing.
De redactie maakt creatieve content voor de social mediakanalen van Eén, Canvas en VRT MAX. Op maat van de gebruiker en volgens de sterktes van de individuele kanalen. Op die manier weet ze de eindgebruiker te engageren rond de content van VRT.
De redactie bestaat uit digitale redacteurs en creatives die hun kennis en expertise uitdragen binnen de hele organisatie.
Wat doe jij elke dag?
Je staat samen met je collega-eindredacteurs en de redactiechef mee aan het roer van de dagelijkse werking van de digitale redactie.
Jouw primaire focus als eindredacteur is de organische social media output op alle touchpoints van Eén en Canvas. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de inhoudelijk-strategische lijnen een concrete en kwalitatieve vertaalslag krijgen op onze digitale kanalen.
Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de online aanwezigheid rond de programma’s van Eén en Canvas. Je zet ze mee in de markt, en zorgt dat het publiek elkaar vindt rond de content.
Jij kijkt vanuit een digitale blik mee naar de overkoepelende campagnes voor Eén en Canvas, samen met marketing, partnerships en communicatie.
Je brengt innovatieve digitale ideeën, die soms verder reiken dan social media.
Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor de inhoud van de nieuwsbrieven van Eén, Canvas en VRT MAX.
Je hebt voortdurend het overzicht, want je beheert samen met de brandmanager de content
- en doelstellingenplanning.
Je voelt direct waar het talent zit in jouw team. Je wakkert goede ideeën aan en durft bijsturen waar nodig.
Intern zorg jij voor een uitstekende samenwerking met verschillende afdelingen. Je bent een teamplayer die vlot en open communiceert.
Je bouwt aan een netwerk om extern talent te vinden.
Je werkt dag in dag uit met een dynamisch team van creatieve en getalenteerde digitale profielen (met talent in alle domeinen van het digitale métier: foto, video, copy, social media, code en grafiek).
Je rapporteert aan de redactiechef van de centrale digitale redactie.
Wie ben je?
Je bent mee met de nieuwste digitale en social trends. Wat er online gebeurt, ook bij de jongste doelgroep, dat moeten wij jou niet vertellen.
Je weet wat er leeft in de wereld van streaming, fictie en non-fictie, audio en video. Je kan voorspellen wat er morgen populair is.
Je kent de waarden van VRT en bent vertrouwd met onze publieke opdracht. Je weet welke content het DNA van de VRT bevat.
Je weet waar de merken van VRT voor staan, in het bijzonder Eén en Canvas.
Je hebt ervaring binnen mediaproducties, met een voorliefde voor digitaal.
Je houdt ervan om leiding te geven, je kan mensen enthousiasmeren en feedback geven. Je hebt bij voorkeur al ervaring in een leidinggevende job.
Je herkent goede social content van mijlenver. Je weet wat zal werken op TikTok, maar niet op Instagram. Je kan analyseren waarom een post niet werkt, en bijsturen waar nodig.
Je schrijft scherpe en wervende copy, in correct Nederlands.
Je bent zelfredzaam en consciëntieus. Een project zit goed bij jou: je bijt je vast en laat niet meer los.
Je bent goed in plannen en het bewaren van overzicht. Je kan prioriteiten stellen en ernaar handelen.
Je weet hoe je een inhoudelijke strategische lijn mee kan uitzetten en bewaken. Doelstellingen halen schrikt jou niet af.
Je bent een teamspeler die graag overlegt over nieuwe ideeën. Niet erg als een idee het niet haalt, je bedenkt zo een nieuwe oplossing.
Je communiceert helder en duidelijk met je collega’s en je team.
Geen probleem als er zaken last minute veranderen, je houdt het hoofd koel bij onverwachte situaties.
