Tree Energy Solutions (TES) is a green hydrogen company supplying carbon-neutral energy on-demand at industrial scale.
The aim is to become a global leader in the future energy space and to provide Europe with renewable, affordable, and secure energy to diversify supply options and to help achieve the Net Zero agenda.
TES’s prime objective is to accelerate the energy transition by leveraging existing technologies to reach customers with green hydrogen, green gas and green power to accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuels and to adopt a circular carbon economy. To diversify its supply, TES is developing its portfolio in strategic locations across the Americas, Middle East and Australia.
To deliver on its ambitions TES is currently building a world class top management team. In parallel the organization is growing from 50+ employees today to several hundred by the end of next year.
**What you will do**:
As a shipping associate you will work closely with senior management as part of the shipping team and will be responsible for:
- Work on financing & business cases in relation to the shipping venture
- Develop further technology solutions relevant to our shipping concept
- Identify, negotiate & build structure to own and operate shipping venture with partners
- Develop contracts with ship building yards
**Location**:
Zaventem/Belgium, Hybrid working
**Who you are**:
- Degree qualification or equivalent in a construction, engineering discipline.;
- Additional commercial / business qualifications preferable;
- Experience in the maritime/shipping industry;
- Excellent communication, planning and negotiation skills;
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in collaboration with other like-minded team members and adjacent project;
- Ability to travel (mostly NW Europe, but also Asia);
- Excellent business English (both spoken and written).
