We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Employee Data Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
The Data Specialist is responsible for overseeing the input of employee data in our system of record (SAP EC) for the EMEA region of the company, regularly auditing the global employee data and working to improve the data entry processes.
This person will also work in conjunction with, and as back up for, our Sr. HR Data and Reporting Specialist who is responsible for creating monthly, weekly, and ad hoc headcount reports.
This role involves working with cross functional teams to ensure that data is entered into the appropriate systems accurately and in a timely manner to positively affect multiple downstream systems.
Scope: STE EMEA (BE, GE, SGP, CH, BR, FR, LUX)
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee data in various systems both internal and external to the company, i.e., SAP Employee Central, SAP Success factors, ADP Workforce Now.
- Monitor and correct data accuracy issues, using established data governance processes and tools.
- Work with the global iDirect HR team to identify and implement process improvements for data management, including developing and maintaining data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to validate data inputs and correct discrepancies or accuracy issues.
- Monitor data flows to identify and resolve inconsistencies and, when necessary, escalate integration issues to a higher-level of support.
- When necessary, provide training and support to HR colleagues on data governance processes and tools.
- Work in tandem with Sr. HR Data and Reporting Specialist so as to serve as backup for producing monthly, weekly and ad hoc employee headcount reports.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, analytics, economics, data management, administration management, IT).
- You have above average Excel skills (e.g., ability to clean data, use pivot tables, and write formulas with lookups, conditionals, logical functions, etc.). Testing will be required prior to hiring.
- You have a high attention to detail.
- You understand the importance of data management and reporting deadlines.
- You can work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written. Other languages is an asset.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (including collaboration tools such as OneDrive and SharePoint) and SAP.
- You like to collaborate with team members, locally and globally
- You have a good affinity with reporting tools and can show your relevant work expierence in the use of this
