**Responsibilities**:

- Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses).
- Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid).
- Gathering business requirements.
- Designing ETL processes.
- Data virtualization.
- Data modelling.
- Providing of advice and assistance, solution patterns and best practices as data scientist
- Defining and building a AWS Quicksight that would serve to disseminate dashboards and reports based on all fisheries control systems
- Put in place a pipeline for the Quicksight dashboard
- Provide assistance with AWS location service and its integration in Quicksight reports.
- Generating documentation about reporting architecture/environment put in place
- Identifying the data-analytics problems that offer the greatest opportunities to the organization and create solutions that enable enhanced business performance
- Collecting large sets of structured and unstructured data from disparate sources
- Analyzing the data to identify patterns and trends
- Interpreting the data to discover solutions and opportunities
- Using a wide variety of tools, including Qlik Sense, Excel, SQL, PL/SQL
- Building data visualizations in an attractive and innovative ways for managers, operational users and citizens
- Communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders using visualization and other means

**Requirements**:
Following knowledge and skills are mandatory for the performance of tasks:

- Good knowledge in business intelligence
- Good analytical skills to go through large amounts of data and analyze them.
- Deep knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (entity relationship model etc.)
- Deep knowledge of AWS Quicksight, SQL language, PL-SQL, XML, Oracle and Excel
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good communication skills
- Strong capacity to give high level presentations
- Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture.
- Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse.
- Knowledge of non-relational database technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools.
- Excellent knowledge of ETL tools.
- Excellent knowledge of modelling tools.
- Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools.
- Knowledge of near real time data warehousing and/or change data capture technologies.

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

- AWS Quicksight, 2 years
