Do you have a passion for business and technology as well as digital and IT architecture and have exposure to projects in the telco industry?
We are seeking an experienced and mature Business Technology Manager to join our consulting firm's Business Technology team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as Manager in the Business Technology Team, you will help our clients on strategic projects and their transformation journeys:
- Possess a strong business mindset and be able to communicate the value of IT solutions to clients.
- Inversely, understand business challenges and how IT solutions can provide an answer to those.
- Understand the specificities of the telecom industry such as OSS/BSS and service-oriented industries
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, including business development and proposal writing
- Understand complex client problems and identify their needs and challenges
- Provide strategic guidance to clients and build strong client relationships
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest digital trends
- Note: While experience in the telecom industry is mandatory, the role will involve working on projects across a range of industries._

PERSONAL SKILLS
- You are fluent in Dutch or French as well as English, plus you have practical knowledge of the other Belgian national language.
- You are a digital native, you are eager to learn and want to grow rapidly in our organization
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset
- You are results-oriented
- You have a can-do mentality
- You have very strong interpersonal skills, including but not limited to verbal and written communication skills up to CxO level
- You are fully flexible in terms of assignment location
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- You have at least 6 years of experience as a strategy or management consultant, mostly in the telecom industry
- You have pragmatic experience in business and IT architecture
- You have outstanding management consulting engagement management track record, as well as the personal ambition to support/drive business development activities
- You have the ability to empathize with clients at CxO level, you can manage politically challenging environments and you can work under pressure and with demanding timeframes/deadlines
- You have strong general consulting skills and the ability to overcome internal barriers through drive, determination and influencing skills
- You have a very strong interest in the digital world
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or IT.
- A MBA or an additional Master’s degree is a plus.
- A postgraduate in Telco-related matters is a plus
