**About the Corporate Communications team**
The Corporate Communications function is responsible for developing and implementing the group’s corporate communication strategy focused on enhancing Etex’s reputation and establishing a constructive dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will lead, manage and develop a team of 7 across external, internal, and digital communications.
**About the role**
This role represents a unique opportunity to drive and evolve our global communication strategy. Reporting to the CEO, you will provide strategic communications counsel to members of the Executive Leadership Team and ensure effective delivery of internal and external messaging for the group.
**This role will see you**
- Lead the full spectrum of communications activities including internal and external communications, consumer PR, crisis and issues management, financial and M&As reporting
- Deliver impactful communications that inform, educate and engage employees through a variety of internal communications channels
- Develop and implement creative communications strategies and execute public relations campaigns enhancing our brand awareness
- Shape financial and M&As communications based on figures and stories, managing channels such as Annual Report, Sustainability Report and Shareholders meetings
- Build a compelling corporate and internal brand enhancing employee engagement and generating compelling stories that make a positive impact on our brand reputation
- Manage relationships with external agencies and a crisis communications plan
**About you**
This role suits a senior communications professional who is able to coach and influence senior leaders. You will be a strong storyteller with the ability to create engaging, compelling communications aligned to global priorities and initiatives.
**What do you need to be successful in this role**
- Comfortable leading and developing a team and working in complex multi-channel environments
- A strategic mindset and strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and influence key stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing internal and corporate communications programmes, reputation and media management within a complex, international environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English with other languages as an advantage
- Experience of effective agency management, media evaluation and analysis
- Experience of using digital channels and social media strategies
- Strong planning and project management and budget management skills
- Experience in financial communications and M&A and crisis management
- Educated to degree level or equivalent PR qualification
- Ability to travel internationally when required
