**About the role**

Are you an expert at building long term customer relationships? Would you like the opportunity to manage some high-profile accounts that make a meaningful difference to the success of our business?

Working as part of the sales team, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day account activities and driving renewals, upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Dods Group Ltd’s client portfolio. You’ll be a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of developing, maintaining, and growing existing customer relationships. You'll have the ability to expand Dods’ footprint within these accounts and drive higher engagement with the company’s products.

You'll be an expert at building long term customer relationships that support the company’s growth plans and retention targets. You will be able to discover your prospects’ needs and position the value and benefits of all Dods products while translating these into successful proposals. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with all internal functions that will support the company’s growth plans and necessary to your success in closing deals and within the business.

**What are we looking for?**
- A proven track record in a challenging and commercially quota-based and driven sales environment, of successfully managing a set of key accounts, demonstrating year-on-year growth and strong retention
- Excellent selling and negotiation skills, with a track record in delivering strong results with a corporate, Government, NGO and advisory customer base is a must
- Curiosity with public affairs, public policy and regulatory development covered by the business a must to be truly successful
- Good financial management skills, including accurate invoicing on all projects and updating the pipeline
- A confident and articulate communicator with a strong commercial acumen and a natural ability to build positive and long-lasting relationships with clients
- The ability to be flexible, highly organised and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A degree in law, political science, economics and/or business administration would be highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English, any other European language is a bonus

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop new key accounts and foster higher retention among clients
- Take ownership of all opportunities to ensure we are maximizing on building relationships, within each client’s key business operations
- Ensure there is a complete understanding of the clients campaign and KPI’s
- Work collaboratively with the policy experts to ensure clients goals are communicated clearly and lead to the successful closure of all deals
- Effectively working alongside other stakeholder departments to ensure an integrated approach to customer care and that client delivery needs are being met.
- Support a customer first culture to ensure total customer satisfaction
- Work with VP of Sales and Marketing to follow up on a timely basis with case studies, strategic initiatives such as (but not limited to) account planning and mapping, opportunity assessment and market sizing, competition analysis, customer feedback, sales forecast, and lead generation campaigns
- Have the ability to renew client spend year on year with the aim of upselling and/or cross -selling to them
- Identify upsell and revenue generating opportunities from within existing client base
- Generate new sales leads via a multichannel approach
- Develop & execute strategic growth plans to capitalize on opportunities at account level, accurately forecast new sales, manage your opportunity pipeline month by month and provide a three-month forecast at any given time.
- Position the value and benefits of all Dods products and keep up to date with market changes and developments, as well as new products.
- Conduct regular client meetings and develop strategic relationships
- Update budgets and any finance reporting where necessary
