Janssen PMP is recruiting for a **GLOBAL BUSINESS UNIT LEADER Crop Management **to be based in Belgium or another location within Europe
The Global Business Unit Leader plays a critical leadership role within the Janssen PMP organization and is a member of the Leadership Team. The position is responsible for the Crop Management product portfolio and the strategic direction of the Business Unit. The position works closely with other functions in the organization to develop and grow the business in accordance with the vision and goals of the division. The position reports to the General Manager
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provides strategic leadership and formulates clear goals for the Business Unit, building short/long term plans and strategies
- Develops commercial strategies for the global business based on strong technical and market insights to achieve successful growth
- Drives sales force deployment in line with strategy and commercial plans to ensure achievement of defined business objectives
- Secures continuous development of the product portfolio through close collaboration with R&D and Product Development
- Builds a trusting, inclusive, and collaborative environment that positively contributes to employee engagement
- Leads and develops the Business Unit team based on empowerment and mentoring and ensures continuous learning and development of team members
- Negotiates legal agreements with existing and future customers and partners

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business area
**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:
- 5-10 years of experience in technical/commercial function
- Customer focus and result oriented capabilities are a must
- Strategy development and problem solving skills
- outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively across functions
- Inclusive leadership style
**Other**:
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Availability to travel +/- 15% of the time
- Location is flexible, but regular presence in Beerse, Belgium is required
