**Ageas Re**
Ageas Re is organized as a Business Unit within ageas SA/NV, the Group holding, on whose balance sheet it underwrites third-party and intra-group reinsurance under the trade name **Ageas Re**. Today, Ageas Re serves clients globally, specializing in property and casualty treaty reinsurance.
Ageas Re’s Risk & Actuarial department plays an important role in supporting Ageas Re's controlled growth. To strengthen our ambitious and dynamic team, we are looking for an Actuarial Officer, based in Brussels.
**Je functie**:
Your main responsibility is to perform actuarial-related work for Ageas Re including the following:
- Assess and document methodology for Ageas Re liabilities covering:
- IFRS17 premium and claims reserves
- Solvency II premium and claims reserves
- Standard Formula and Internal Model Underwriting (UW) Risk Non-Life
- Best Estimate Liabilities and Risk Margin
- IFRS4/BGAAP premium and claims reserves
- Provide cash-flows at various granularities
- Ensure the Ageas Re reserving policy and underlying guidelines and procedures are up-to-date
- Provide input and support the capital calculations for quarterly and yearly closing process
- Reserve and Premium Risk under Solvency II
- Risk Margin under Solvency II
- Present methodological topics in Technical Committees and the Model Control Board
- Come up with process improvements to enhance efficiency and increase reliability of output
- Liability adequacy testing
- Interpret results and provide business-oriented comments:
- for Internal Model output UW Risk Non-Life
- covering attritional, large and Nat Cat risks
- analysis of change quarter vs quarter
- for reconciliation of reserves between IFRS17, Solvency II and IFRS4/BGAAP
- Provide input for regulatory reporting and multi-year budgeting process:
- Qualitative Reporting Templates (QRT)
- Solvency Financial and Condition Report (SFCR)
- Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA)

**Je profiel**:
- Actuarial degree and mathematical background
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, reinsurance experience is a strong plus
- Good knowledge of internal model for UW-risk and underlying stochastic distributions
- Proficient in Excel
- Languages - English any other language is a plus
- Ability to explain complex matters in an easy way
- Accurate and attention for detail
