Reinsurance is organized as a department within ageas SA/NV, the group top holding, on whose balance sheet it underwrites. In 2022, Ageas opened its capital for third-party reinsurance that operates under the trade name Ageas Re. Today, Ageas Re serves both Group and non-Group clients predominantly in EMEA, specializing in property and casualty treaty reinsurance. To strengthen our team; we are looking for a **Pricing Modeller** to join our ambitious and dynamic team that is growing rapidly.
**Your function**:
- Assist in pricing reinsurance contracts.
- Provide actuarial support to the underwriting teams.
- Collaborate with other actuaries, underwriters and other departments on projects.
- Collect client and market data to perform actuarial studies.
- Support the development and maintenance of pricing tools.
**Your profile**:
- University degree in international business economics or a related field.
- Good analytical and communication skills, attention to detail.
- Strong team player and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Able to manage and meet deadlines and work under time pressure during renewals.
- Knowledge of one programming language such as VBA, R, Python, SQL is a plus.
- Fluent in English, a second language a plus (Dutch/German/French/Spanish/Italian).
- First professional experience in re/insurance welcome.
