**Your role & work environment**:
Portfolio Management Credit Risk is looking for Portfolio managers.

The Portfolio Management team is a new team in the Credit Risk Management Transaction Approval (CRM TA) department. A department which is responsible for the risk assessment of all deals that enter the ING Belux portfolio.

Portfolio Management is at the core of risk management where risk appetite, policy setting, credit decisions, capital, provisions and monitoring will be connected to pro-actively manage the associated risks. Transformation of portfolio management in a data driven way will ensure risk management by design and as a result contribute to better business while keeping the bank safe and compliant.

We are at a decisive moment in designing the future of credit risk management, for which one of the fundaments will be to further unleash the potential of data-driven credit risk management. We monitor the portfolios using a data-driven analyses combined with credit risk expertise from the department. Understanding data, identifying its key components and combining the credit risk expertise from colleagues to make sure we make the right decisions will be essential to making portfolio management a success.

**Your key responsibilities**:
**Data Analysis**
- Derive insights out of data using excel or SAS VAA to support Portfolio management activities
- Contribute in projects to automate data-driven solutions and decisions
- Coordinate data requirements with several departments.

**Portfolio Management**
- Use data analysis to identify focus points for Portfolio Management Committees.
- Deepdive into credit risk topics to get to the core of a problem and come up with a solution.
- Take on projects that drive change.

**Communication**
- Work together with the Transaction Approval team to manage the portfolio and improve decisions taken.
- Liaise closely with the various risk departments on change, policies, reporting and data.
- Align with front office and finance.

As a Portfolio Management Analyst you will also need:

- Excellent data analysis in Excel.
- Good in data visualization using Powerpoint.
- Creative and enthusiast in preparing clear ppt presentations
- High problem solving capability.
- Pro-active mindset
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and writing).
- Experience in credit risk.
- Knowledge of Vortex data or SAS VAA is a plus
