**Job Description**:
Chemours is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our growing Hydrogen Economy Venture team In your position you will report directly to the Application Development Engineering Manager and work at our site in Mechelen.
In your position you will be responsible for:
Assembling electrical and mechanical test devices.
Conduct experiments that are coordinated weekly with the Application Development Engineering team on site and globally.
Troubleshoot the various problems that can occur in the test setup.
Collect and analyze data in a weekly report.
Actively think along which experiments can help to achieve the goals.
Safely perform routine tasks and new experiments.
Help to develop and implement new test methods and improvements to current test methods.
For this role we need the following from you:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent through experience.
Fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of English.
Helpful in solving mechanical problems.
Communication skills to work in a team.
Skilled in storing and analyzing data.
