**Role: IS Tester & Support Agent**

**Profile**:

- Client is looking for a IS Tester to participate in the OCM (client Content Management) project and that will deal with the day-to-day aspects of the quality assurance process.
- The IS Tester is an experienced professional with strong IT and software testing skills, ability to asses priority of business problems and good reporting skills.

**Our main responsibilities**:

- To develop and implement a digital strategy serving client's policies and operations.
- To provide client and external partners with a state of the art digital forensics function.
- To develop and operate the Anti-Fraud Information System (AFIS) in the area of mutual assistance in customs matters and irregularities management.
- To develop and operate the case management system of client.
- To be the central, reliable source of securely managed data in client
- To enable knowledge sharing in the area of anti-fraud policy and fraud-prevention within client and beyond by putting in place the necessary digital solutions.
- To provide a state-of-the-art digital and mobile workplace environment fulfilling client staff needs.

**Education and technical expertise**:

- Bachelor level education (3 year of higher education) and minimum 6 years of IT professional experience.
- Knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites (like Confluence)
- Excellent communication / writing skills.
- Experience with testing tools like selenium, cURL (API testing), Metasploit (penetration testing) and Wire shark (performance testing) is recommended
- Experience with scripting language like python
- Expert at using JIRA and zephyr
- Previous experience in the European institutions would be an advantage.

**Specific Expertise**:

- Proven knowledge of testing technologies and tools
- Aptitudes in reporting
- Black-box and grey-box testing
- Ability to understand business and functional analysis documents and translate this into test scenario's
- Specification-based testing, good understanding of and interpretation of acceptance criteria
- Smoke testing
- Stress testing
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
- Knowledge in end user assistance and support of information systems
- User guidance and support regarding the use of information systems, incl. follow-up of incidents related to information systems
- Follow-up of user requests and of bug reports
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge about case management systems and software
- Knowledge about service management tools, like SMT, would be an advantage
- ISTQB certificate, would be an advantage

**Description task**:

- Methodologies: SCRUM, RUP/agile: Very good
- Knowledge of PM methodologies (PM2, PMI, ) and IT Service management (ITIL)

**Tasks**:

- Provision of quality plans, quality control and evaluation, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information systems projects
- Evaluation if the information systems under development meet the requirements and work as expected
- Definition of test plans and test cases
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts
- Tests coordination and execution
- Reporting of test results
- Automating functional tests
- Organisation of User Acceptance Tests
- Day-to-day follow up of the support incidents, effective communication with users in case of incidents/questions.
- Advise on quality improvement.
