**Position Summary**:
Purina is a dynamic business with an important part of the sales done online. At Purina, we want to continue leading the category growth online, both on pure players (ex.: Zooplus), Brick & Mortars specialists ecom and Brick & Mortars Grocery ecom (ex.. Carrefour, Colruyt, ).
To strengthen our E-commerce approach in the Nestlé Purina Petfood division, we are looking for an E-commerce Specialist (Channel/Category/Content), reporting to the Head of Market development organization, to help us elevate our organization and lead the category conversation for the ecommerce channel.
Her/his main responsibilities would be, in liaison with our central European team and the local team in the market, to develop and deploy Category Strategy and tactics for the ecommerce channel. Lead the thinking in the Channel and deliver improvements on Category performance and on Nestlé Purina Belgium Share.
**A day in the life of an e-Commerce Specialist at Purina**:
- Be the ecommerce Lead in Purina Belgium, responsible of defining the **local market ecommerce channel plan**, inspired by European ecom channel plan, but strongly based on local consumer, shopper and customer insights for a successful execution through customers. Concretely localize brand 5P online - product, placement, price, promotional guidelines, champion e-content implementation.
- **Develop internal capabilities** of all sales teams by using resources available in the European team or by training to become recognized experts in online at all levels.
- **Partner with local marketing**, to continue integrating e-commerce into their campaigns and partner with and support sales teams in the execution of the channel plans at customer level.
- **Work together with the European Team** to raise portfolio gaps/opportunities for the channel to provide optimal range and sales coverage while achieving efficient and effective range performance; to ensure best practice sharing across counterparts
- **Drive Category** Strategy work in collaboration with local eRetailers, bringing Category Strategy Drivers to life with an action plan for priority eRetailers, selling new initiatives for growth (e.g. taxonomy, search, PSL...). and unlocking further new online channels **driving a real test and learn mentality** (ex.. Last Mile Delivery,)
- Set-up and **lead the eCouncil **local cross-functional team Sales/Marketing/Category Management, to align priorities, projects and shared targets, ensuring coordinated execution of central and local eCommerce channel strategies.
**What will make you successful**:
- 3 + years commercial experience (previous experience in Mktg, Sales or Digital) with clear expertise working within ecommerce.
- Fluent in French or Dutch and English is a must.
- You are able to work autonomously demonstrate strong networking & people skills, must be able to engage and drive change both internally and externally and be a credible expert.
- Must understand customer needs and the selling process.
- Open-minded and driven to make a difference and explore future opportunities while optimizing the existing business.
