**Description de l'emploi**
You strengthen the Belgian Cancer Centre, which monitors cancer policy in Belgium and provides support at the various policy levels. The Centre works in close collaboration with political leaders, all actors and stakeholders in the field of cancer in Belgium and within the framework of international initiatives. More specifically, you contribute to the implementation of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan (EBCP) in Belgium. The EBCP is a large scale initiative launched by the European Commission, which provides funding opportunities to EU-MS in four key areas: (1) prevention; (2) early detection; (3) diagnosis and treatment; and (4) quality of life of cancer patients and survivors.

You have a key supporting role in the overall coordination of a 2 year European Joint Action (JA) on eHealth. The recent availability of eHealth interventions presents unique and exciting opportunities to enhance cancer prevention and care. The Joint Action explores the role of teleconsultation and remote monitoring in different populations of cancer patients.

You work in an international environment and will be required to be in close contact with the European Commission and collaborate with partners based in several European countries.

You are responsible for keeping an overview of consortium timeline, overall progress, and activities.

You draft the Technical and Financial Reports as well develop content for presentations in international expert meetings and conferences.

You prepare technical meetings (briefings, draft agenda, meeting minutes) with partners in Belgium and EU counterparts.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to support the Cancer Centre of Sciensano in the formulation of policy recommendations beyond your responsibilities within the JA.

This strategic role in an exciting European project offers a great opportunity to use and develop your project management skills in the field of digital health.

**Le profil**
Master in public health / social / (bio-)medical sciences or similar

1 to 2 years of professional experience in the field of EU public health

Some knowledge of or keen interest in the areas of data innovation, digital health, telemedicine and cancer

Good analytical and editorial skills

Very good knowledge of English (knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset)

Generic competencies: Team player, attention to detail and deadlines, ability to work autonomously

Desirable: previous experience in the EU Institutions through internships or traineeships in the field of (digital) public health
