Voor een van onze klanten, een **groeiende en ambitieuze Belgische onderneming**, is **Robert Half** op zoek naar een ervaren en gemotiveerde **Head of Accounting**.

In deze rol speel je een cruciale rol in het beheer van de financiële administratie, het aansturen van een klein team en het waarborgen van nauwkeurige en tijdige rapportages.

**De functie**:
Als Verantwoordelijke Boekhouding ben je verantwoordelijk voor het overzicht en de controle van de volledige boekhouding. Je leidt een team van twee ervaren boekhouders en draagt bij aan de optimalisatie van financiële processen. Je zorgt ervoor dat deadlines worden gehaald, rapportages nauwkeurig zijn en financiële verplichtingen tijdig worden nagekomen.

Concreet omvat jouw takenpakket:

- Beheren en controleren van financiële stromen en kasboekingen.
- Voorbereiden en indienen van btw-aangiftes.
- Coördineren van de maandelijkse boekhoudafsluiting.
- Begeleiden van de jaarlijkse financiële audits in samenwerking met de bedrijfsrevisor.
- Opstellen en neerleggen van jaarrekeningen en andere wettelijke documenten.
- Uitvoeren van kassa
- en bankreconciliaties, specifiek voor de retailactiviteiten van de klant.
- Opleiden en ondersteunen van interne stakeholders in het tijdig verwerken van financiële documenten.
- Optimaliseren en automatiseren van financiële processen.
- Voorbereiden van managementrapportages en coördineren van consolidaties met externe partners.

**De ideale kandidaat beschikt over**:

- Een Bachelor
- of Masterdiploma in een financiële richting.
- Aanzienlijke ervaring in een boekhoudkundige rol, idealiter met leidinggevende verantwoordelijkheden.
- Kennis van boekhoudkundige wet
- en regelgeving en bereidheid om deze up-to-date te houden.
- Sterke vaardigheden in Microsoft Office, met de bereidheid om Microsoft Business Central als ERP te leren.
- Een resultaatgerichte en analytische instelling.
- Goede organisatorische vaardigheden, stressbestendigheid en een scherp oog voor deadlines.
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en een assertieve houding.
