**Maxus Capital**
Maxus Capital is a recently-launched, entrepreneurial private equity fund investor focussed on European small and mid-cap investments. We recently raised €175m from a stellar group of entrepreneurs and advisors, and we're actively deploying our fund across best-in-class primary fund investments, direct co-investments and secondaries. We are a young, dynamic organisation with ambitious plans for future growth.
**The Role**
We are now looking for a proactive, curious and high-capable Investment Associate to join our small but ambitious team. This is our first "non-Partner" hire and the role represents the opportunity for the right individual to accelerate their level of responsibility at an early stage in their career.
Here's what you'll be doing in the role...
- Managing end-to-end deal processes
- Supporting the analysis and presentation of potential investments
- Mapping markets and sourcing new investment opportunities
- Monitoring our growing portfolio of fund investments
- Reviewing legal documentation (LPAs, side letters and subscription documents)
- Owning the management of our CRM platform
- Building relationships across the European private equity ecosystem
- Representing Maxus Capital at events and conferences
- Contributing to future fundraising efforts
**Requirements**:
- Fund-of-funds, placement agent or other private markets investor
- Direct investment firm (private equity, growth equity or venture capital)
- Investment banking or management consulting, but with a strong grasp of the European private equity landscape and a demonstrable interest in the sector
Whatever your prior experience, we're looking for evidence of your ability to work hard and make things happen.
