**Job description**:
The purpose of the job is to successfully develop and optimize the business performance, business growth and increasement of the market of special segments and projects. That enables Radio Holland to become the project company of choice for customers and business partners (OEMs, integrators). You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer Projects.
You are located in Antwerp and the scope of your job is global.

In addition, we guarantee fast and efficient service through a worldwide network of branches and agents along the world’s major shipping routes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Translate Radio Holland’s key strategic priorities into client strategies in the assigned markets, from recording planning, proposals to engagement strategy, project execution, setting Radio Holland apart from the competition.
- Keep abreast of market developments and external economic and market conditions in order to respond proactively.
- Establish effective policies, targets and sales targets, monitor financial and budgetary activities and identify ways to minimize costs and improve financial performance
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures and in line with our business objectives for ethics, compliance, quality, health, safety and the environment.
- Developing a winners mentality and a company culture of ownership and collaboration,
- Developing a continuous improvement culture through proactive actions and inspiring change to optimize sales growth and business results
- Recruit and develop talent at all levels to build on the current special segment organization : ensuring the people and processes are in place to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers and propose and develop new partnerships.
- Leading a sales and project team that drives growth in all customer segments, with both direct and indirect sales.
- Develop a geographic expansion strategy and support the team in developing sales and project strategies in line with business priorities
- Leading and guiding an execution team that delivers projects according to the requirements of the contractual agreements with customers and suppliers within budget and in line with our corporate ethics, quality, health and safety goals.
- Operates on all levels of the DMU for clients.
- Leading the sales and project management team in finding new ways to optimize processes and efficiency and improve the customer experience.
- Understands the market including behaviour of competitors, OEM interests and contributes to the development of new propositions aligned with the opportunities and needs in the market.
- Acts as an ambassador towards the market, maintains the relationships, grows the revenue, and promotes the whole company portfolio of (new) products, services and systems to clients. - Focus on Top Line Growth, Improvement of the Bottom Line and promote a Company Culture of Ownership and Cooperation.
- Influences the process of remaining or becoming a preferred supplier to customers.
- Generates leads & opportunities; registers these in the appropriate management system and ensures timely follow-up. - Is responsible for the entire commercial process at customers, up to the moment of handover to operational departments.
- Periodically reports to the chief commercial officer projects.
**Work Experience**:
- Has experience in developing business and sales strategies.
- Masters relevant technical and business processes.
- Has a thorough level of technical knowledge and understands relevant technologies that are part of products or solutions offered to clients.
- Is experienced in managing and negotiating high value projects, technical projects and contracts and their terms and conditions.
- Is experience in management of a technical & project management teams.
**Skils & Abilities**:
- Expert knowledge in Product, Service & System level knowledge in NavCom.
- Project, Service & System level knowledge in other Marine systems.
**Education**:
Bachelor or Master degrees
