Purpose

Chiesi respiratory Account Manager or AM will retain and develop relationships with customers (HCPs and not limited to GPs or SPs) who may use Chiesi portfolio’s products to treat patients. They may develop and implement business plans that increase the sales and uptake of a medicine, or portfolio of medicines, across accounts in the Brussels area.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop a yearly account plan to address the strategic changes in the market in close collaboration with MSL, Marketing and Medical affairs and monitor, review and adapt the plan on a regular basis;
- Monitor the implementation of the account plans, including the initiated actions and projects, and adjusts, where and when necessary;
- Maximize sales of respiratory portfolio’s products and increases market share in the designed territory while meeting compliance company requirements;
- Support the brand strategy and identify new opportunities which will drive the business;
- Implement the omnichannel strategy/CX strategy referring to marketing messages and tactics;
- Discuss customers’ needs and market insights with Marketing/Medical to adapt/tailor the strategy to develop new projects / services;
- Evaluate risks and opportunities to adapt the local strategy in close collaboration with internal stakeholders;
- Regularly deal with multi medical and non
- medical stakeholders (Specialists, GPs, Nurses, Physiotherapists ) at retail and hospital level;
- Manage his/her customer database and update when needed;
- Maintain accurate coverage of designed territory and ensure full compliance with CRM reporting requirements in line with Company policy guidelines;
- Based on the segmentation principles, identify and profile the individual customers (GP level) / Accounts (SP level);
- Continually build and map a solid network of effective and trustful relationships with key accounts, decision makers and influencers;
- Fulfil customer requests for information and/or expertise by coordinating with the appropriate resources within the team;
- Report visits in the CRM system on time;
- Advise/inform customers about Chiesi, its services, (new) products and developments in Respiratory therapeutic area;
- Understand customers’ needs and expectations and collect market insights to achieve short
- and long-term business objectives;
- Proactively discuss information about formular products inclusion in these formularies;
- Maintain excellent on-going knowledge of disease areas, products, and competitors by attending relevant training sessions and follow up literature allowing to discuss/present product messages with scientific knowledge during face-to-face or in group meetings;
- Participate in relevant scientific meetings/congresses;
- Collaborate cross functionally in a teamwork spirit to optimize the results in a timely manner;
- In close collaboration with MSL, marketing and medical affairs, identify partnership opportunities, organize promotional and educational group meetings (staffs, group meetings, conferences, webinars) for medical stakeholders and other medical staffs;
- Ensure value is returned from the customer when value is provided;
- Complete administrative requirements and comply with guidelines and policies.

Experience Required

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position within the Pharma Industry
Excellent oral and written communicative skills in both Dutch and English;
Knowledge of and experience with the Belgian healthcare landscape;
Practical knowledge of CRM systems (Mobil intelligence or alike)

Education

Bachelor or master's degree in science, (para) medical or economics. Business management not mandatory but considered as an asset
