**Site Manager**:
Move forward as Site Manager at DSV in Puurs.
**About the role**
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of our operations in Puurs. This warehouse is over 40 000m2 and has approximately 160 or so employees. You are end-responsible for the effective and efficient execution and optimization of the logistics processes for our existing customers. You will lead the local management team supported by various specialists.... In this position you will report directly to the Regional Director and be part of the Regional Management Team.
**Other duties**:
- You actively contribute to the proper development of the capabilities and qualities of your team and ensure the optimal deployment of employees and other resources;

- Furthermore, you are a conceptual thinker, with a 'hands-on' mentality. You have a healthy critical attitude. You are also a person who knows how to set priorities and act decisively;
- You stand for high-quality results. You are able to switch between functional needs and technical solutions without losing sight of the sometimes different interests of the various stakeholders;
- You have analytical skills in identifying bottlenecks and defining solutions and process improvements;
- Moreover, you recognize synergies in different operations. In addition, you are a fluent communicator and know how to deal with everyone in the operation.
- Your colleagues see you as a people manager and a convincing sparring partner.
- You are a self-starter and you are able to set ambitious targets for yourself and your organisation.

**Are you the perfect fit?**
- A completed, relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, possibly supplemented by various training courses in the field of leadership;
- You have analytical ability in identifying bottlenecks and determining solution directions and process improvements;
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma and independently leading significant improvement and innovation projects;
- You are an experienced people manager
- At least 5-7 years experience in a management position with a logistics service provider
- You express yourself fluently both in writing and speaking in Dutch and English, French is certainly an added benefit.
