**Operations Lead Financial Services EMEA**
Key player to implement and execute state of the art Equipment Financing (lease) Capabilities at Thermo Fisher Scientific in EMEA

Thermo Fisher Financial Services EMEA (TFFS EMEA) is part of Thermo Fisher Financial Services Global. We are a dedicated team of in-house leasing experts, acting as center of expertise for our internal and external customers. As a trusted Business Partner, we support our Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions in providing innovative financing solutions to their customers.

This is a unique opportunity to develop the function from Project phase to day-to-day operations. The key objective will be to optimize, design, implement and execute a state of the art the Operations function for the EMEA region.
In the Project phase, develop, implement, execute and grow this function within the development phase, full support of the Project team and with full support of the TFFS Global Operations team based in Boston (US). In the operational phase, work closely with the TFFS Sales team in EMEA, Customers, Preferred Lease Partners and Thermo Fisher's divisional Operations team in EMEA. A high exposure level, both internally as externally in unique, international, dynamic environment.
**Key responsibilities**
- Implement and optimize Financial Services operational function in EMEA efficient ‘Quote to cash’ process
- Create blueprint and IT implementation of quote and contract system and where required integrations to other (Divisional) ERP systems
- Execute (hands on) Customer contract life cycle and operational aspects for TFFS EMEA such as quote, credit approval, activation of contracts, customer collection and returns
- Design, implement and maintain processes in the sales cycle (rate cards, pricing, conditions)
- Execute performance forecasting, reporting and analysis.

**Implement and optimize Financial Services operational function in EMEA**
Create workflow blueprints, in cooperation with Global TFFS Operations Team
Be key member of the Implementation Project team.
Lead Project implementation of new systems and manage Software suppliers
**Execute Financial Services Operations**
Work with the sales team in handling the lease sales cycle by processing finance transactions
Supporting Regional Managers with deal flow, working directly with divisional sales reps, resolve any customer inquiries, generating and auditing lease documentation
issuing Purchase Orders to divisions, settling payments and working with Global Shared Services
Project manage System improvements and internal workflow by exploring technology upgrades
**Execute Customer Operations**
Clarify any questions that arise with customers regarding the lease agreement or process.
Relay estimated time of arrival for equipment being shipped to customers by working with division on timeframe and expectations.
Performance analyses, reporting and funding forecast
Develop and optimize reporting tools and analysis capabilities
Calculate and perform detail analyses on the performance of the Lease Program in terms of various KPI such as lease penetration, conversion, and acceptance levels
Accurate funding forecasts to Senior Management to measure monthly progress toward AOP.
**Keys to Success**:
**Education**
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Logistic, Operations, or equivalent
**Experience**
Min. of 5 years experience in (international) captive or vendor back office environment, preferable in sophisticated, constantly evolving, international matrix organizations. Ideally in high-end technology and/or Life Science-, Biotech
- or Healthcare industry.
Solid understanding and knowledge of difference of various Lease Offerings across the EMEA, focus on top 10 countries.
Experience in using data science, IT systems and Contract administrative systems
