Vinçotte is currently looking for an experienced **Financial Analyst** to join our Finance organization.

The Finance organization features a team of 25 people who are responsible for several key activities within Vinçotte, amongst which planning, budgeting & forecasting; business intelligence & performance management; controlling & business reporting; working capital management; accounting, consolidation & statutory reporting; tax management. The team is a **key generator of business insights to help decision making for multiple stakeholders** including: Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Business Unit Leadership, Operations Management,

**Your goal**:
As a **Financial Analyst**, your responsibilities will include:

- Closing
- Coordinate the monthly closing and process the activities during the closings
- Conduct analyses of the payroll compensation costs
- Act as a trusted advisor by being the interface between accounting and controlling departments
- Reporting
- Prepare management & financial dashboards and prepare executive documentation for Senior Leadership
- Long & Medium term financial planning
- Coordinate the budgeting and rolling forecast (and corresponding reporting processes), based on the input from HR officers and Business Units
- Conduct budget follow up & coordination with Procurement and Controlling departments during the year
- Broad management support
- Conduct critical thinking with the Head of Finance and the CFO to solve key issues
- Prepare ad hoc Financial analysis to support management decision

**Your profile**:

- Education: University degree (bare minimum) - Master's degree from a reputable institution (Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering).
- Experience: Between 3-5 years of relevant experience (f.e. auditing in combination with a role as financial controller or analyst) in results-driven environments.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French or Dutch.
- Skills:

- Proven problem solving capability & intellectual agility, both independently and in team settings
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to manage big picture and details accuracy, simultaneously
- Solid and proven accounting knowledge
- Solid communication skills (oral, written, presenting)
- Demonstrated positive attitude: Hands on & can do, ownership & accountability, flexibility
- Demonstrated drive to results: Stress resistance, performance orientation, resilience
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel & PPT is a must - Experience in BI tools is a plus (e.g. Power BI)
