**The opportunity**:
Goodman CE is looking for a colleague to join the **Ops Accelerators team,** a cross functional team focused on **enabling initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence of the organization**, by delivering solutions (**people,** **process** **& technology**) in the domains of business process re-engineering,** business intelligence **and information technology

**What does the role involve**:
As the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst you will focus on the reporting side of Business Intelligence and, while you occasionally perform data analysis, your main goals are to (1) empower the end users to answer their own questions, based on the company's data sources and (2) deliver insights and visualisations into complex business questions through the use of data and BI tools. You will achieve this by:

- Setting up and leading a self-service BI community
- Coaching and training end users to become self sufficient with the tools and data sources
- Sharing your knowledge on the latest trends and innovations in BI
- Leading by example through the creation of best practice dashboards and reports
- Gathering business requirements to create dashboards and other reports in close collaboration with the other BI roles who are more focused on ETL development
- Develop and maintain the reporting environment including reports and tools:

- Power BI
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Azure Analysis Services
- IBM Planning Analytics
- Act as a BI expert towards power
- and business users
- Promote use of self-service BI across Goodman CE
- Assist colleagues in the business with reporting/dashboarding
- Contribute to creation of training material for self-service BI

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Master's degree in finance / Computer Sciences / Engineering or equivalent by experience
- ± 3 years of relevant experience
- Affinity with business and IT
- Strong analytical skills;
- Precise & accurate, focus on quality
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge
