We are looking for a **Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Partner Go-to-Market (Alps, Benelux & Nordics)** who is **agile**, passionate and has strong interpersonal skills **to join our **Financial Planning & Analysis** team, based in our **headquarter** in **Brussels**, **Belgium**.

**About the role**

The FP&A Partner provides analysis to drive resource allocation, insight to support decisions, forward-looking analysis to highlight risks and opportunities to business results and active engagement in optimizing use of advanced analytics into the core focus. This is a key position supporting stakeholders in the local markets of Northern Europe, including Finance Business Partners (FBPs), Global FP&A, and leadership from the businesses. The FP&A Partner builds and maintains strong working relationships with other assigned Business partners: Record-to-Report (R2R, or Accounting), Genpact (outsourcing partner in India), Global Finance and Sourcing counterparts including FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders, to create patient value.

**What you’ll do**
- **
Business Partnering**
- Provides financial support and guidance to Finance Business Partners, business leadership and local markets.
- Evaluates and interpret financial data and operational trends, to enable effective resource allocation and decision-making. Includes, but not limited to: support for business reviews, monthly reporting and analysis, identifying solutions to non-standard requests, handling confidential matters.
- Leads the budget and planning process for the units with local Finance Business partners and Global FP&A
- Meets regularly with commercial stakeholders to review financial performance and discuss variances on actual to budget (Sales, Sales deductions, OPEX, FTE ) in close collaboration with the Finance business partner.
- Facilitates review with business partners on the accuracy of budget and forecasts, and development of measures to ensure financial and operational objectives are met.
- Develops and interpret relevant analytics across business functions and activities
- Provides guidance highlighting accounting changes impact on the business.
- **
Ad-hoc analysis and analytical reports**
- Reviews monthly expenditures to ensure proper coding and budgetary goals are met
- Ad-hoc analysis on product returns and other Gross to Net buckets.
- Ad-hoc analysis to quantify scenarios and business cases
- Ensures accurate, relevant, on-time delivery of recurring reporting and analysis, included, but not limited to:

- analysis on monthly profitability and operating expense variances.
- headcount analysis including proper reporting for headcount variances compared to targets.
- monthly financial reporting and operational metrics for product teams, business unit management, and executive management.
- **
Resource Re-allocation/ Forecast / Budget / Long range forecast exercises**
- Ensures that high-level budget and forecast concepts can be implemented in a harmonized way, in alignment with Global FP&A.
- Leads preparation, consolidation, and submission of forecasts and annual plans
- Quantifies business drivers and assumptions, scenarios
- Coordinates the forecast exercises with the Knowledgeable Planners after alignment with the Finance Business Partners and Insights-to-Impact (I2I)
- Implements advanced analytics as appropriate in forecast development
- Ensures deliverable for budget and forecast reviews are completed in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
- Uploads the data for exercises done locally and regionally into the system.
- Performs adjustments and reconciliations if needed on forecast changes.
- Checks Budget/Forecast phasing to align with operational timelines.

Monthly Close Process**
- Provides business insights and commentary on price volume mix analysis.
- Assists Record to Report (R2R) team with month-end close process by reviewing financial performance and providing relevant business insight and variance analysis.
- Works with Record to Report on accruals development in a timely and effective manner.
- Explains root causes of OPEX variances vs. Budget and PY
- **
Master data management**
- Setup and maintenance of cost objects, Purchase Orders (PO) and Delegation of Authority (DoA).
- Performs periodic review of allocation rules, cost center master data, WBS settlement, and PO mapping to ensure correct ownership and functional alignment.
