**What's the role**:
Due to an internal promotion, we are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Controller (NL/FR) to join our Belux Finance Team. Reporting to the Controlling & Procurement Manager and working closely together with the Head of Finance, you will be in charge of all Finance (60%) and Tax and Legal (40%) controlling aspects for Belgium and Luxembourg.

**What does the role involve?**:

- Coordinate the monthly closing process by providing salary and accrual bookings to the regional shared service center
- Prepare cash flow planning
- Provide OPEX reporting
- Coordinate external audit and offer support during internal audit where needed
- Act as the primary point of contact for all tax and VAT issues
- Act as the legal responsible and first point of contact. Assistance is provided by external law firm and regional headquarters
- Review of customer and supplier contracts and T&C on a regular basis
- Coordinate and implement all compliance topics (code of conduct, anti-corruption, anti-trust) for Belux employees and follow-up on training completion
- As DPO officer, be responsible for all GDPR topics in close collaboration with regional headquarters
- Coordinate all corporate governance matters in collaboration with external lawyer
- Coordinate all legal related customer complaints/cases
- Work closely with other departments such as Sales, HR, Marketing and Logistics on a variety of topics

**What you need is**:

- Masters in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
- Excellent command of NL/FR, good command of English is a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in audit, finance consultancy or controlling role
- A good user level IT skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills
- Proactivity, ability to work independently
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Flexible and adaptable
- Willing to learn and develop trough global trainings
