***What You Will Do at Prophix**
***Accounting for 5 legal Entities/countries
- Assist the Accounting Manager with the daily operations including the following:
- Month and end-year process
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Cash receipts
- General ledger
- Cash forecasting
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Check runs
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Communications with 3rd party accounting firms and tax authorities.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
System Implementation
- Ensure that workflows incorporate key financial, contract management and procurement controls as identified in policies and procedures.
- Ensure localization setup for all entities. (Local VAT and tax requirements are key).
- Research design problems as they arise and propose solutions.
- Develop and track project requirements with the implementation team.
- Develop and track project phasing and schedule with the implementation team.
- Communicate, in close collaboration with the ERP Project Manager, project status at scheduled meetings and serve as a central source of project information.
- Rollout the implementation, as the lead, for our legal entities in Asia
Training
- Manage the ERP implementation, in close collaboration with the Accounting Manager including training and testing.
- Develop a training curriculum for finance, contracting and procurement staff. Training materials should include user guides and job aids.
- Working with key finance, contracting and procurement leads to identify all types of reporting that will be needed from the new system.
- Develop accurate documentation of the finance and procurement modules of the system.

**Required Qualifications**
***A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5 - 7 years of experience in an international context
- Demonstrated excellent, in-depth, and hands-on knowledge of accounting software and processes from the simple, QuickBooks, to the more complex such as Oracle or SAGE ERP systems. Preferably with an understanding of the complexities of multi-currency, multi-site, and multi-organizational implementations
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office package
- Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach is required
- Fluency in English and Dutch or French and effective communication skills are required
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
