**SENIOR COORDINATOR **ACCOUNTING & FINANCE**

We are looking for a **Senior Coordinator **to co-manage our Center for Excellence (CfE) in Financial Leadership & Digital Transformation and the CfE in Mergers, Acquisitions and Buyouts, together with the Center directors.

**Your mission**
- Co-deliver, moderate and facilitate **workshops and events** from the Centers.
- Be a connector between, and inspirator for, the members of the centres. Create synergies between the operations of the Centers.
- Strengthen the **long-term relationship** with our member-companies and corporate partners by maintaining frequent contact to discuss their needs, challenges, opportunities,
- Gain access to local relevant networks from a B2B sales perspective and represent Vlerick Business School at **network events**. Act as an interface between the School and the corporate world, feeding back how Vlerick Business School can add value in Accounting & Finance research & networking activities.
- Identify new leads and co-create a pipeline of prospects with the Center directors, use enthusiasm to **follow up on leads and attract new member-companies**, organise sales visits, negotiate and conclude large long-term partnerships, as well as other innovative relationships, while overseeing consistent pricing and creating value for all parties.
- Co-Develop a **strategy** to tap into the market opportunity for research and networking in the CFLDT and the M&A Center, with the Center directors.
- Co-manage the **budget** of the area together with the area head and act as SPOC to Vlerick corporate accounting.
- Work in close collaboration with our Center directors, professors, and researchers.
- Help develop content for our different **communication** channels (website, blog, social media, brochures, adds, etc).

**You**
- Can develop strategic, proactive relationships with potential corporate partners.
- Have strong insights and affinity with the accounting & finance domain.
- Have extensive experience with relationship management with executives.
- Have firm perseverance and a natural commercial awareness.
- Are driven, goal-oriented and focused on achieving high targets.
- Have developed (is able to develop) an international, extensive, and relevant network with finance & accounting executives.
- Have a master’s degree and minimum five years of relevant business experience.
- Have relevant knowledge of the Accounting & Finance research field.
- Understand the importance of research and can help strengthen the bridge between the academic and the business world.
- Are a strong communicator in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Are looking forward to working on our campus in Ghent, Brussels, or Leuven, in combination with your home office.
