**Department Info**:
The **Quality Regulatory (QR)** Department is dedicated to ensuring that our products consistently meet the highest quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements. Within QR, there are five specialized subgroups:
- Quality Systems
- QA Development
- Quality Operations
- Regulatory Affairs
- Complaint & Vigilance
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Lab Technician to join our QA/QC team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests on final products, raw materials, and semi-finished products to ensure the quality of our products.
You will also play a crucial role in an exciting multi-year project, collaborating closely with one of our customers to learn their QC testing procedures and subsequently transferring this knowledge to our QC team. This will require strong project management skills and occasional travel.
**Responsibilities**:
**Sample Management**
- Collect and distribute samples for quality control tests on raw materials, finished products, and semi-finished products.
- Archive and manage retention samples, batch records, and test results.
**Testing**
- Independently organize and conduct necessary testing (physical/functional and visual inspections) according to prescribed procedures, ensuring completion within set timelines.
- Execute and document tests following GLP/GDP standards.
**Result Processing**
- Perform administrative processing and evaluation of test results against established specifications.
- Create non-conformity reports in the existing ERP system for out-of-specification results.
**Data Entry**
- Enter results into SAP or designated summary files required for product release or trend monitoring.
- Perform final release of raw materials in SAP.
**Laboratory Maintenance**
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Monitor necessary parameters of the work environment and used equipment.
- Conduct periodic verification of equipment.
**Support and Optimization**
- Assist in optimizing and developing (new) testing methods and associated equipment.
**Project Focus**
- Actively contribute to a multi-year project by collaborating with a customer to gain knowledge of their QC testing procedures.
- Transfer the acquired knowledge to the QC team.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills and be open to occasional travel.
**Profile Description**:
**Educational Background**
A professional bachelor's degree in laboratory techniques (chemistry, microbiology, food, biochemistry, etc.) or equivalent experience.**Skills and Experience**
- Ability to work independently with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Preferably, some practical experience in quality control of medical materials. Practical knowledge of English and information technology.**Additional Requirements**
- Project management skills and openness to occasional travel.
- The role includes routine testing and contributing to a highly interesting, challenging, and innovative project.
