**Major Accountabilities**
- Accountable to grow the country or business unit sales and market share to meet or exceed budget targets
- Be a partner and co-creator in the development and implementation of the commercial strategy with focus on sales organization
- Ensure flawless execution of brand strategy and tactics and provide appropriate feedback to quickly identify plan changes
- Shape pre-launch priorities and activities, drive and measure launch performance, and effectively drive customer engagement across stakeholders that are core to launch success
- Manage operating budget and allocate resources to optimize business results
- Own relevant key customer relationships and channel insights to cross-functional teams
- Build best in class sales team through talent acquisition, succession planning and development of associates
- Monitor and drive business performance of respective sales and account teams
- Defines and enables implementation of innovative strategies on digital selling, remote
- selling, or other innovative selling methods.
- Integrate sales strategies with a high-performing cross-functional team.
- Lead the national sales organization through structural changes with mínimal disruption to customer and ensure maximum employee engagement
- Ensure full sales team alignment to and ownership of Novartis Code of Conduct and all Legal, Ethics and Compliance policies
