Are you looking for the next step in your IT career? This supplier of all sorts of technical equipment is looking for an IT support specialist to join their team in Schaerbeek. You will play a pivotal role in two different area’s.1st one being as a technical support:
- Managing and configuring IT hardware such as computers, printers, communication equipment... Act as the point of contact with suppliers of this equipment. To set up and maintain an inventory of IT equipment. Express any ideas you have about any improvements with the existing set up. Monitoring market developments and analyse what may be of interest to the company. If necessary, set up a well thought proposal to the Finance Director. Continuously diagnose the equipment utilisation rate and take corrective measures to maximise the return on ICT investment. Ensuring that backup systems are working properly and that they are fully effective in the event of an incident. Preparing the IT budget and submitting it to management. Monitor the evolution of this budget.2nd one being as a first line support
- Assist colleagues as a first-level support and technical assistance for the infrastructure for all users at the head office and our sales outlets. Either personally or by contacting external suppliers and ensuring comprehensive follow-up. Allocating/creating the necessary access for employees
- Ensuring that staff are trained to make optimum use of the tools in place by regularly updating the necessary instructions and technical documents. Ensure that the various software packages used in the company are regularly updated.
**Wat wij van jou vragen**:
For this broad IT position it is crucial that you have the following skills:
- Fluent in both French and English
- Proficient in at least 1 scripting language
- Programs such as: Microsoft WDS 10 and 11, Azure, M365, Exchange, Firewall, Active Directory, Server RDS hold not secrets for you.
