As an experienced Manager, you will take pride in running an outstanding operation and be an ambassador for WHSmith
- You will be responsible for driving sales and managing the costs to maximise on the profitability of your store - you’ll treat the business as your own.
- Inspiring the team to make sure every customer has a brilliant experience so wherever our customers are going, you can be sure they will always be happy to come back to our stores.
- Recruit and retain your team, making WHSmith the employer of choice in your market.

**What experience do I need?**
Joining WHSmith as a Store Manager, it would be great to have Retail or Hospitality experience - but what is just as important is that you are in your element when inspiring a team You lead by example, showing your team what great always looks like. With this approach, you’ll win the respect of staff at every level, getting the best from each individual and encouraging them to develop. Commercially sharp, you know that putting customers first is key to meeting targets and budgets, and you’ll take full responsibility for the stores Profit & Loss account.
