Wij zijn op zoek naar een Junior Data Scientist om ons Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team te versterken. Als Junior AML Data Scientist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren en monitoren van Machine Learning modellen om potentiële witwas
- en terrorismefinancieringsactiviteiten op te sporen, te voorkomen en te onderzoeken. Je werkt nauw samen met onze teams van AML-analisten en Data Scientists om de efficiëntie van onze AML-processen te verbeteren.

**De job in een notendop**
- ontwikkelen, implementeren en controleren van Machine Learning-modellen om verdachte transacties en activiteiten op te sporen
- analyseren van grote datasets om patronen en trends met betrekking tot witwassen en terrorismefinanciering te identificeren
- ontwikkelen, onderhouden en verbeteren van onze huidige dashboarding oplossingen
- samenwerken met AML-analisten en onderzoekers om inzichten en aanbevelingen te geven
- op de hoogte blijven van de nieuwste technieken en tools in Data Science en AML om ons programma voortdurend te verbeteren
- deelnemen aan teamvergaderingen en indien nodig bevindingen presenteren aan Senior Management
- toezien op de naleving van alle toepasselijke wet
- en regelgeving met betrekking tot AML (repatriëring van fondsen, beperking van het gebruik van contant geld, detectie van atypische transacties, enz.)

**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**

Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. We zoeken vooral een straffe persoonlijkheid met een learning mindset.

Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als je iemand bent met:

- een masterdiploma in een relevant vakgebied zoals Informatica, Data Science, Wiskunde of Statistiek
- een ervaring met programmeertalen zoals Python en SQL, en vertrouwdheid met bibliotheken zoals scikit-learn, pandas en numpy
- een kennis van Machine Learning-algoritmen zoals Decision Trees, Random Forests, XGBoost, enz.
- een sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden, met het vermogen om complexe datasets te analyseren en patronen en trends te identificeren
- een kennis van webontwikkeling/dashboarding (ervaring met Python Dash is een pluspunt)
- een uitstekende schriftelijke en verbale communicatievaardigheden, met het vermogen om technische concepten uit te leggen aan niet-technische belanghebbenden

Je scoort extra met:

- tweetaligheid (Nederlands/Frans) en vloeiend Engels
- aandacht voor detail en een sterk gevoel van eigenaarschap en verantwoordelijkheid
