- You must be a student for the entire duration of the internship.

Your team and your responsibilities:
**Division information**:
As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants, and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity.
**Your project**:
With electrification of the vehicle fleet, one of the key component to estimate the real state of a vehicle is the battery degradation. Several approaches of modelling of battery degradation can be used, in this project the focus is on black box model development using machine learning. With existing data from battery cell tests and fleet monitoring, you will use machine learning models to predict the degradation of the battery of a plug-in hybrid vehicle. For this purpose your tasks will be:
- Post-processing of cell tests and fleet data.
- Evaluation of machine learning model which could be used.
- Comparison of the machine learning model with existing physical and semi-physical models.
