Technical Buyer Electronics

The buyer's position manages suppliers, negotiates new prices and places purchase orders to ensure customer commitments are met.

Responsibilities**:As Our Technical buyer, you will**:

- Steer innovations in the purchasing team
- Follow market trends and take preventive actions
- Communicate and report to management any shortfalls and actions being taken to mitigate these in a timely manner
- Work cross functionally with other teams including Sales & Production to ensure that customer orders will be fulfilled on time
- Create and follow up purchase orders
- Carry out other duties as assigned such as EOL management

Qualifications**:As a prerequisite to become our Technical buyer, you**:

- Have a Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, electronics
- Have 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Are able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Can multitask and deal with changes that may come with short notice
- Have good interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Are a self-starter with a high degree of organization skills
- Are proficient with Excel
- Are fluent in English, Dutch skills are an advantage
- Learn actively, think critically & posses analytical and problem solving skills
- Have knowledge about or willing to learn about a major ERP system such as SAP (MM)
