At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a **Business Intelligence Expert **to join our UniQue Brussels team
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
**What will you be bringing to the team?**
- Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses)
- Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid)
- Designing ETL processes
- Data virtualization and modelling.
- Physical DB design
- DB performance analysis
- Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes
- Elaboration of test programs
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participation in meetings with other project teams
**Requirements**:
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- A Master's degree + at least 9 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years experience with Qlik Sense
- Minimum 2 years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Minimum 5 years experience with SQL
- Minimum 1 year experience with Python
- Knowledge of PM2 or similar PM methodologies (a plus)
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture and relational database systems
- Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture
- Knowledge of non-relational database technologies
- Excellent knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools
- Excellent knowledge of ETL tools
- Excellent knowledge of modeling tools
- Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools
- Knowledge of near real-time data warehousing and/or change data capture technologies
- Good knowledge of cloud-based business intelligence design
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
