**This is what the Actuarial Function Holder does within Allianz Benelux**:
- You advise the Allianz Benelux Board of Management, on the risks we run in so far as they may have a material impact on our ability to meet liabilities to policyholders in respect of long-term insurance contracts as they fall due and, on the capital needed to support the business, including regulatory capital requirements.
- You will monitor those risks and inform the Board, if you have any material concerns or good reason to believe that Allianz Benelux does not meet liabilities to policyholders You advise, perform and report to Allianz Benelux governing body on the calculations and methods used.
- More specific, you are responsible for **ensuring adequate reserving** (local and Solvency II) **across the full business** (Life, P&C, Health) within the Benelux Region.
- You are in charge of the **review, challenge and sign-off of technical provisions and underlying assumptions and models**.
- Additionally, you **provide oversight** and challenge on: data quality, reinsurance, underwriting & profitability, profit sharing. You are the actuarial point of contact for and provide transparent reporting to the Board of Directors. You ensure the adherence to all regulatory SII AFH tasks as well as the communication with the regulator on this field.
- It will be your responsibility to lead the model validation team as part of the Actuarial Function Team to perform full model validations for the relevant models in usage to calculate i.e. the Technical Provisions.
- You are the **People manager for your department**. You motivate and inspire the Actuarial Function Holder team (3) in an effective and efficient manner, set clear targets and priorities, support the individual and team development and cooperation within the company.

- You have a **master’s degree** in econometrics, actuarial, mathematics, statistics or computer science.
- **Lead by example**: Strong track record in people Management & coaching; ideally in an international environment.
- As a person you show **customer & market excellence**, entrepreneurship, and trust towards your work environment.
- You are known for your excellent **technical and communication skills** and you are familiar with complex, global organization structures.
- You have an extensive **knowledge of insurance product features and products in Life/P&C &Health**.
