- Depending on local regulationsReporting to the AOC Head of Training, the Training Support Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of the Flight Operations Training department & coordinating with the TUI Aviation Support Coordinator. This role manages the day-to-day activity of the AOC training department as required by the AOC Head of Training.
The key output of the role is to proactively develop, manage and implement a range of processes to ensure the AOC Flight Operations Training team are coordinated and have the information necessary to deliver their team objectives.
**ABOUT THE JOB**:
- The Training Support Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of the AOC training department documentation and working within an agreed set of procedures to ensure the effective and efficient coordination of training for the AOC and coordination with TUI Aviation Training.
- This role will create and manage departmental procedures to support the efficiency of training administration.
- The role will monitor regulatory updates or changes and alert the Head of Training who will ensure compliance through appropriate actions to support maintenance of compliance & aircrew performance standards.
- This role will work closely with the other Flight Operations Managers to ensure the TUI wide training policy, design, coordination, delivery and maintenance of standards is aligned with the group and business objectives.
- Working closely with the TUI Aviation Training Support Coordinator they will ensure the AOC provides effective and efficient delivery of aircrew training.
- They will provide the highest quality leadership whilst promoting an open, honest, one team culture to enhance Trainer engagement by delivering the highest levels of efficiency, compliance and safety oversight for training & across Flight Operations.
- They will support the Head of Training with innovative and creative engagement solutions that create a cohesive and standardized training community.
- The Training Support Manager AOC will provide coordination and assist with prioritization for the Training Managers.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- A proven track record in managing & coordinating aircrew training.
- Have the ability to operate with multiple business customers and manage key stakeholders.
- Proven financial acumen to prepare and support business cases and financial reports.
- A skilled communicator with the proven ability to influence, partner with senior leaders, develop a strong network of contacts throughout the industry and gain support and commitment from line managers and employees across the business.
- Proven ability to employ analytical tools to measure, manage and provide data to improve pilot and cabin crew performance.
- Ability to think commercially and strategically whilst ensuring full regulatory compliance is achieved and maintained.
- A self-motivated leader with change management skills who takes the initiative and works collaboratively with a track record of motivating and developing others.
- A logical thinker with the ability to generate ideas and alternatives.
- Demonstrable ability to clearly articulate concepts and arguments verbally and in written documentation.
